Detective sci-fi mystery set in the cyberpunk world of Blade Runner. This time we have a female protagonist. The issue is that the story, so far, resembles the previous Blade Runner stories a bit too much - detective (blade runner) hunting down 'so-called' fugitives (replicants) - detective gets a new case of missing persons, etc. I'm only giving this a 4-star rating because of the following reasons: 1) Despite the glaring storyline similarities, it is still enjoyable. The tension is slowly building. 2) I have high hopes for the upcoming issues. I do not think I will be disappointed. My inner voice keeps telling me that things are going to take an unexpected turn for the better! 3) The world of Blade Runner is on another level. 4) Finally, the ARTWORK. It is amazing, captivating and does full justice to the BR world.

Blade Runner #2 2nd in this graphic novel series.....well written and great art work, just like the first novel. My only complaint is that they're too short! I now have to wait til next month for #3, sigh.

A Visit to the Bladerunner Universe The art alone in this book makes for a worthwhile trip back to the Bladerunner Universe. So far the noire storyline has produced that rarest of birds, an intriguing female Sci Fi character. I can only hope the story continues this good.

"I hope my daughter never wakes up. It's a terrible thought. But when she's asleep she's not afraid."
