I really am not a big Elvis fan, I like a few of his songs. I was given this "audiobook", which is really three different radio shows on CD. It was a very positive biography and fun to listen to. I am sure there are other Elvis biographies that are much better

I don't know a lot about Elvis...and I say that after having listened to this. But truthfully, I didn't know his story going into this and it seemed like this was a pretty sugarcoated version. The point of view was of people who liked Elvis, a lot, and didn't really have any negative to say about him. It felt like a lot was glossed over. Each CD was its own self-contained piece, focussed on a particular aspect of Elvis' career but there were also clips used multiple times. I did enjoy hearing some of the music and old interviews and learn just a tad about the King. Sort of made me want to learn more.
